Trading Accountability Recap

1. Goals & Intentions:

  • What were your trading goals for the day? My trading goals were to execute my strategy perfectly, and hopefully market doesn't fuck with me
  • Did you stick to your plan? Why or why not? Yes, I did.

2. Execution Review:

  • Adherence to Strategy:
    • Did you follow your rules (entry/exit, risk management)? Yes, I did. To the pin. I did not miss on any details
    • Where did you deviate? Nowhere. I stuck to everything. I was definitely patient.
  • Emotional Discipline:
    • Did emotions influence your decisions? How? No.
    • What triggered emotional responses today? Nothing did. I would say that I almost sold after seeing a rejection in an area. I am happy for my stop loss to minimize my losses and give me another fighting chance for the next day.

3. Performance Evaluation:

  • Best Trade:
    • Why was it successful? Did you follow your plan? I followed my plan. I count that as a success.
  • Worst Trade:
    • What went wrong? Was it avoidable? The market just didn't complete the move to hit my TP. There was just too much selling pressure. what can you do.

4. Lessons Learned:

  • What personal behaviors helped or hindered your performance? I have been wondering myself why I have been making all these different strategies instead of doing what got me my first 50k payout from Top Step. Why am I creating and trying all these different strategies when I have one that works?
  • What habits need reinforcing or changing? I need to switch back to the strategy that got me my first payout which is the Break of Structure and Retest. I think I have just been in a pursuit of higher RR that I have forgotten that I just need a high win rate like before, and not over trade like before. Patience, minimize risk, and don't over trade. That is all I have to do. One thing I will say is that I have learned patience over trying newer strategies so I took something from it. Now, it is time for me to take that patience and effectively execute my known strategy.

5. Accountability Actions:

  • What steps will you take to improve tomorrow? I will have PATIENCE, MINIMIZE RISK, AND NOT OVER TRADE. ONE TRADE A DAY AS ALWAYS!
  • Who/what will hold you accountable? myself. I have gotten better at stopping myself from making those decisions. I will do better.
